Garaged for most of its life, Granny Knots has had only 3 owners and is in excellent order. She is presently on a hardstand at Clayton Bay Boat Club (reserve side, near the gate), where she has been under a tarpaulin for the last 2 years, but has spent much of her life in garages. Contact details for previous owners may be provided, subject to their approval. This is a beamy, very stable and safe boat with plenty of freeboard and it is very comfortable to sail. The cockpit is very roomy and easily accommodates 4 adults (and more). It also tows well with a 3L Toyota HiLux diesel and the previous owner towed with ease using a 6 cyl. Commodore, including many weekend trips to Goolwa from Adelaide. Granny Knots has been sailed on the Lower Murray Lakes, Gulf St Vincent and Coffin Bay, where she performs very well even in the hands of novices. A previous owner had a class win with Granny Knots in the Goolwa to Milang Classic. Granny Knots has plenty of storage space and is excellent for day and weekend sailing and easily accommodates coastal and inland sailing for a week or more. We have a limited number of photographs available in electronic format, but the boat is available for viewing at CBBC (Hardstand 15?). This boat is in excellent condition inside and out.
