South Australia's best kept secret - Clayton Bay
Clayton Bay Boat Club has been in existence for over 30 years and is operated by members. As its name suggests, it caters for all types of boats and their owners; not just yachts.

Non-members are invited to come along to a monthly club BBQ as a visitor. These are held on the first Sunday of every month, are a lot of fun, the great food is inexpensive, and drinks are available at the bar.
Club facilities include:-
a boat ramp;
short stay marina berths
hard standing;
fully licensed clubrooms:
kitchen facilities:
showers and toilets;
an outdoor entertaining area with gas barbecues;
Sullage dump-point.
Every weekend during the season, a club member is rostered to manage the club activities.
Clayton Bay Boat Club regularly holds a series of sailing races including the 5 - race "Red Top series", novelty races and the annual Rat Race Regatta (click here for entry details).Clayton Bay is ideally located on the Lower Murray River for cruising, Boaties can explore all the small rivers, large creeks and wetlands of the area. Explore Lake Alexandrina or Lake Albert. Access to the world famous Coorong is easy, through the Tauwitchere lock. There are regular club cruises.
